Premier Projects celebrate Day of the African Child 2021 with donation to students
Published: 19 June, 2021

Premier Projects donated crucial school kits to young people in Angola, to celebrate Day of the African Child.
The kits, provided to 200 students, included notebooks, pencils, rulers, erasers, glues and more important items to help in their studies. Premier Projects gifted the kits in partnership with the Spanish Embassy of Angola and satellite TV provider, ZAP.
A spokesman for Premier Projects said:
Education is an important pillar of our community work. We believe that everyone should have access to education, without barriers to learn.
“Therefore, we couldn’t be happier to have helped with these kits and we hope they help the students achieve their academic goals.”
International Day of the African Child is held yearly on June 16. It was first initiated in 1991 to honour those who took part in the Soweto Uprising in 1976. The day continues to raise awareness for the need of improved education for African children.
An opening ceremony was held in front of the local community and municipality leaders, with a basketball game played between Premier Bet staff.
This donation is just the start of education-related donations from Premier Projects. Keep an eye on Facebook Facebook and Instagram for exciting news about our plans for education.
